Origin Okinawa

Okinawa is the largest island of the Ryukyu Islands, a chain of islands in the southwest of Japan. It is roughly 600 km southwest of the Japanese main island Kyushu.
Okinawa has a subtropical climate. The lowest temperature measured in the last 30 years was  4.9°C. During summer, the temperature can climb above 30°C and the relative humidity is above 80 %.
